Backend Engineer Requirement

- Senior Java Backend Engineer supporting the

Spark → HubX migration project.

- Looking for

7–8+ years of experience

, with very solid hands-on

Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and service interactions

.

- Migration/modernization experience is highly preferred; fintech/financial-services and cloud experience are a plus.

- Frontend is

React

, but React is not a core requirement for this backend role; basic understanding of application flow is sufficient.

- Candidate should be comfortable working from

Low-Level Designs (LLDs)

and independently implementing features.

- Cursor/AI coding experience is preferred

, but the candidate must be able to understand, validate and clearly explain AI-generated code/PRs.

- Strong focus on ownership and accountability

—candidate should proactively communicate blockers and take responsibility for their deliverables.

Strong unit testing, code quality, debugging and PR review practices are expected
