Job Profile Summary The Senior HRIS Analyst serves as the functional lead responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting core Workday modules. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions aligned with business needs. The Senior HRIS Analyst ensures configuration integrity, drives process automation through the Request framework, and champions data accuracy and user experience across the platform.

The role also provides mentorship to HRIS Analysts, leads functional testing and release management, and collaborates with the technical team to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Lead functional configuration, optimization, and maintenance of platform SKUs.
- Act as primary functional SME for enhancements, releases, and system changes across the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business partners to translate process requirements into efficient solutions using core and extended functionality (e.g., Request Business Process, calculated fields, condition rules).
- Lead the testing lifecycle (unit, regression, and UAT) for new features and integrations.
- Oversee documentation and governance for configuration decisions and change management logs.
- Provide tier-2 and tier-3 functional support, troubleshooting complex issues and coordinating with vendors when required.




- Partner with the Integration and Reporting teams to ensure data consistency and streamlined cross-functional processes.
- Coach, performance manage and mentor HRIS Analysts, ensuring knowledge sharing and adherence to department standards/ KPIs
- Stay current on system releases and new features, assessing opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Champion company core values and other company programs to engage and motivate our employees.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education Workday and/or other HRIS formal training is required.

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field. Workday Integration, Studio, or Extend certification preferred.

Experience

610 years of progressive Workday experience with increasing technical ownership. Strong background in automation, data modeling, and API development. Experience working in a global environment supporting cross-functional teams.

Experience in managing others

Certificates, Licenses, & Registration:

Workday Integration, Studio, or Extend certification preferred. Membership in skilled HRIS or HR technology organizations (e.g., SHRM or HRPAO) is an asset.
