Must Have • 4+ years of hands-on functional / manual testing (capital-markets domain strongly preferred).

- Capital-markets domain knowledge hands-on testing of Equities and Fixed Income (Bonds, Bond Forwards, Futures, Swaps) & understanding of the trading lifecycle
- API testing understanding — comfortable with REST/SOAP contracts and request/response validation using tools like Postman or curl.
- Robust test craft — test planning, regression and progression testing, basic test estimation, hands-on defect lifecycle and test metrics.
- Agile/Scrum — working experience within sprint ceremonies and cadences.
- Communication, independence & stakeholder comfort — drives tasks to completion and works directly with traders, developers, and stakeholders.




- Entry-level AI-for-STLC exposure — has used Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for test-case generation or defect analysis (a learning mindset is acceptable).
- SQL (independent) — can write and run queries without help: SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY and basic joins.
- Defect triage & root cause analysis - person should understand how to do root cause analysis and have knowledge of understanding the logs.
- Employment stability — no more than 1 company change in the last 6 months; genuine long-term commitment on complex domain projects.
