Sitecore Developer – Role Description

Location : Anywhere in India (Remote)

Role Responsibilities The Sitecore Developer will be responsible for:

- Rebuilding existing legacy .NET components and logic in Next.JS headless solution.
- Creating Storybook examples and ensuring maximum test coverage for all code.
- Rebuilding/migrating Sitecore customisations such as custom fields / token handling / RTE enhancements.
- Rebuilding integration logic with ACU's middleware (WS02 via REST).
- Working with existing ETL migration script to ensure Sitecore content is correctly migrated.
- Fixing any logic / UI issues for rebuilt code.
- Assisting with Sitecore AI forms-email setup / integration.

Required Skills and Experience

- Sitecore AI (formerly XM Cloud) experience (mandatory).
- Next.js (React/Typescript) development experience (mandatory).
- Experience handling Sitecore wildcard pages using Next.js.
- Preferably familiarity with SSG / ISR / cache components.
- CSS / Tailwind experience (mandatory).
- Storybook experience.
- PowerShell / Sitecore PowerShell Extensions experience.




- Headless architecture experience.
- Azure DevOps experience.
- Familiarity with Azure web apps / function apps / SQL.
- Familiarity with Sitecore AI Forms / Connect / Send is a bonus.

Scope of Work The rebuild/migration work includes:

- Public Website.
- Staff Site.
- Student Portal.
- 6+ Microsites.
- Integration with middleware.
- Integration with Sitecore AI Forms / Connect / Send / Content Hub.

Deliverables

- Code commits in git repo for all rebuilt legacy code and serialised Sitecore items.
- Storybook stories for all rebuilt components.
- Vite tests with maximum test coverage for all components + logic.
- Pull requests in Azure DevOps for all work.
- Documented logic (in Confluence) of components rebuilt from .NET to Next.js.

Please note: Where it says that the skills are mandatory, please ensure that the candidate has these specific skills. Just having Sitecore XP experience is not enough; they must have experience with Sitecore AI/XM Cloud .
