About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (MERN) to step into a Team Lead role, owning both hands-on technical delivery and people leadership for a sizeable development team. This person will be the technical face of the team to US clients — running discovery calls, owning SOWs and scoping, and making sure what gets promised actually gets built and shipped. You'll be expected to code, review, and lead simultaneously, using modern AI-assisted development tools as part of your everyday workflow.

What You Will Do

1. Lead and mentor a team of developers (team size up to ~20), dividing work, running sprints, and managing performance
2. Write and review production code across the MERN stack (React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, TypeScript)
3. Own system architecture decisions, code review standards, and technical debt management
4. Independently lead client discovery calls, SOW reviews,



and technical scoping conversations with US stakeholders
5. Own deployment and release processes — CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, go-live checks, and rollback plans
6. Use AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT/Claude) daily to accelerate delivery, and help the team adopt AI-assisted workflows
7. Manage multiple client engagements/projects in parallel, working across fixed-bid and time-and-materials models
8. Work full-time in US business hours (fixed US shift), five days a week

What We're Looking For

1. 7–12 years of hands-on experience across the MERN stack (React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, TypeScript)
2. Proven experience leading a development team, including sprint planning and performance management
3. Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, with direct client-facing experience (discovery calls, SOWs, technical scoping)
4. Demonstrated daily use of AI development tools in a real production workflow
5. Full readiness and alignment to work fixed US business hours
6. A relevant engineering/technical degree
7. A fully established home office setup if working remotely (high-speed internet, power backup, quiet environment) — required for candidates based outside Gujarat
8. Willingness to commit to a minimum 1.5-year tenure
9. Notice period of 30–45 days or less
