Job Title - Sr. Associate Finance To execute accurate booking and timely processing of employee reimbursements, supplier payments (domestic and import), and vendor expense claims in line with company policies; to prepare provisions for monthend and yearend book closures; and to support timely filing,

reconciliation, and compliance of applicable Indirect Taxes (GST, TDS on expenses, etc.)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Support the R&D; Finance Head in execution of daytoday accounting and finance activities related
- to R&D; operations and projects.
- Perform assigned accounting tasks accurately and within defined timelines, ensuring adherence to
- internal controls and finance policies.
- Maintain books of accounts related to R&D; cost centers and projects in compliance with Indian
- Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and company policies.
- Assist in preparation of R&D; MIS, cost analysis reports, and periodic dashboards for management.
- Provide financial data and analysis support for R&D; budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in SAP for R&D; expenses, projects, and cost allocations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Engineering, HR, SCM) to ensure correctness of R&D; cost capture and reporting.
- Support statutory compliance activities applicable to R&D; finance and ensure timely filing of returns.
- Bill Booking & Expense Processing R&D; Verify, validate, and process travel, conveyance, training, prototype, testing, and other R&Drelated; expense claims as per approved policies.




- Carry out MIRO for purchase and service invoices related to R&D; projects, ensuring alignment with PO, cost center/project codes, and tax applicability.
- Ensure accurate classification of expenses between capital and revenue for R&D; activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all R&D; bill bookings.
- Prepare and submit periodic and adhoc reports related to R&D; spend for Corporate Finance and management.
- Accounting, Cost Control & Compliance R&D;
- Assist in preparation of R&D; Balance Sheet schedules, P&L; entries, and cost summaries within closure timelines.
- Support capitalization of R&D; assets, tools, and equipment after validating supporting documents and approvals.
- Ensure GST compliance for R&D; transactions, including:
- Correct identification of eligible input tax credits
- Maintenance of statutory records
- GST reconciliation and mismatch resolution
- Perform bank reconciliation for R&Drelated; accounts and track open items.
- Process vendor payments for R&D; service providers, consultants, and labs as per contract/PO terms.
- Carry out vendor reconciliations and follow up for timely resolution of differences.
- Handle cash and advance settlements related to R&D; activities in line with authorization matrix.
- Audit & Controls R&D; Finance
- Assist the R&D; Finance Head in preparation of data, schedules, and explanations for statutory,
- internal, and management audits.
- Ensure availability of projectwise documentation and justifications during audits.
- Verify, validate, and book R&Drelated; purchase and service invoices in SAP against approved POs, cost centers, and project codes.
