Role Overview

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities along with calculation, verification and reconciliation of Mutual Fund brokerage/commission income. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, numerical accuracy, Excel proficiency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Mutual Fund Brokerage

- Calculate MF brokerage/commission based on transaction data, schemes, AMCs and applicable brokerage rates.
- Verify brokerage calculations against AMC/RTA statements and commission reports.
- Reconcile brokerage receivable vs. brokerage received and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain AMC-wise, scheme-wise and period-wise brokerage workings and records.
- Follow up and coordinate for resolution of brokerage-related discrepancies.
- Prepare periodic MF brokerage MIS and reconciliation reports.

Regular Accounts Activities

- Record routine accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Handle purchase, expense, payment, receipt, journal and other accounting entries.
- Perform bank reconciliation and assist in ledger scrutiny/reconciliation.
- Maintain vendor/customer ledgers and assist in reconciliation of balances.
- Assist in preparation and verification of invoices,



vouchers and supporting documents.
- Support statutory accounting requirements, including TDS/GST-related workings and documentation, as applicable.
- Assist with monthly/year-end closing, MIS preparation and audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for accounting transactions.
- Perform other routine Accounts & Finance activities assigned from time to time.

Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
- Experience: 13 years in Accounts & Finance; experience in Stock Broking, Mutual Fund Distribution or Financial Services preferred.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Knowledge of MF transactions/brokerage calculations will be an advantage.
- Valuable proficiency in MS Excel Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.
- Working knowledge of Tally/accounting software preferred.
- Strong numerical ability with high attention to accuracy and timelines.
