Role description

Technical areas to assess (from client JD):

- C# .NET — primary language; must be robust, not just familiar
- AWS (ECS / EKS) — containerization experience is a strong plus
- Bitbucket — source control
- Jenkins / Argo / Octopus — CI/CD pipeline tooling
- PagerDuty, Coralogix, Grafana Cloud — monitoring & ing; production support awareness
- Jira, Confluence — delivery and documentation tooling
- Databases: SQL Server, DynamoDB, Postgres, MySQL
- Queuing: SQS, SNS, RabbitMQ, Kafka
- gRPC, REST APIs; batch processing awareness
- OOP paradigm; observability practices
- All roles are backend only — no front-end skills required

- There are no separate testers and no pre-written specs; engineers own the full dev lifecycle
- Must self-unblock; passively waiting on a blocker is a disqualifier
- Should be comfortable pairing with Product and driving their own delivery

- Client's note: engineers with 10+ years tend to be less adaptable in this environment
- Payments domain experience is a bonus, not a prerequisite
