SL Lumax, an automotive component manufacturer specializing in headlamps, rear lights and mirrors for cars, is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Engineer / Senior Engineer Sales Planning / Production Planning & Control (PPC) / Supply Chain at its Talegaon facility.

The ideal candidate should have experience in automotive or auto-component manufacturing, with robust analytical, planning, coordination and customer-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and monitor production plans based on customer schedules and demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor material availability, inventory levels and production requirements.
- Analyze customer schedules, production performance and dispatch plans.
- Ensure timely execution of production plans and customer deliveries.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports using MS Excel.
- Track production versus plan, identify deviations and support corrective actions.
- Coordinate with customers regarding schedules, delivery commitments and urgent requirements.
- Utilize SAP for planning, inventory monitoring and related transactions, as applicable.
