Job Title- Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Senior Data Engineers - (AWS) to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud‑native data warehouses. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, SQL, ETL/ELT, and data modelling, with proven experience in building robust data architectures for advanced analytics and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and maintain optimal ETL/ELT data pipeline architecture for structured datasets.
- Assemble large, complex data sets and design multi‑dimensional models (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Build scalable data warehouses including Fact and Dimensional tables using AWS Redshift and other cloud tools.
- Automate ingestion, streaming, scheduling, and monitoring using AWS Lambda, Glue, S3, Redshift, and Code Pipeline.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate data into internal marts for advanced reporting.
- Optimize big‑data pipelines, including compression into PARQUET and SQL performance tuning.
- Utilize GitHub for version control, collaboration, and CI/CD practices.
- Ensure data privacy and GDPR compliance when handling customer data.




- Perform root‑cause analysis and maintain data quality across structured and unstructured datasets.
- Support analytics and data science teams with reliable data tools.

Candidate Requirements

- 4+ years of hands‑on data engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in AWS cloud data warehouses/services.
- Advanced SQL knowledge with relational databases and AWS Redshift.
- Robust experience in data modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, OLAP).
- Hands‑on expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline architecture.
- Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Glue, S3, Redshift, Code Pipeline) for automation.
- Proven ability to build and optimize big‑data pipelines, including PARQUET compression.
- Proficiency with GitHub for version control and CI/CD.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with root‑cause analysis.
- Familiarity with message queuing, stream processing, and scalable big‑data stores.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Immediate joiners or candidates serving notice period preferred.
