Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks and SQL to design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions. The candidate should have a good understanding of data warehousing concepts, data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for large datasets.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Apply data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, fact and dimension tables, and data integration.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation,



and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Optimize query performance and data processing jobs for efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and implement reliable solutions.
- Follow best practices for data security, documentation, monitoring, and governance.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Advanced SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, and query optimization.
- Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data transformation, and data quality management.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
