Key Responsibilities 1. Mandate Understanding & Role Decoding

· Analyse job descriptions, leadership expectations, organisational context, and success criteria shared by the Client Partner/Engagement Manager.

· Conduct internal role-briefing discussions to align on competencies, experience clusters, and target sectors.

Talent Research & Market Mapping

· Build longlists and talent maps across designated industries, companies, and competitor organizations.

· Conduct structured research using databases, LinkedIn, headhunting, referrals, associations, and market intelligence sources.

· Identify talent pools, compensation ranges, organisational structures, and reporting lines.

3. Headhunting & Candidate Outreach

· Execute targeted headhunting through cold calls, messaging, and referral networks.

· Qualify candidates for interest, suitability, and availability.

· Maintain high-quality communication and professional representation of the firm.

4. Candidate Assessment & Evaluation

· Conduct structured competency-based interviews.

· Evaluate leadership behaviours, functional expertise, stability, motivation, and culture-fit.

· Prepare detailed assessment notes, scorecards, and candidate summaries for internal review.

5. Shortlist Preparation

· Present well-evaluated, high-fit candidate slates to the Engagement Manager.

· Highlight risks, strengths, red flags, and compensation insights for each candidate.

6. Candidate Process Management

· Coordinate interview scheduling, assessments, follow-up discussions, and debriefs.

· Manage candidate expectations regarding role, compensation, timeline, and process steps.

· Maintain strong engagement throughout the hiring lifecycle to reduce drop-outs.

7. Documentation & Reporting

· Update CRM/ATS systems with accurate candidate data, progress status, and interview feedback.

· Generate weekly progress reports, funnel metrics, and research deliverables for the internal team.

8. Intelligence & Insights

· Gather real-time market insights on competitor talent moves, compensation trends, and industry shifts.

· Share structured intelligence with the Engagement Manager to refine search strategy.

9. Offer Coordination Support

· Provide internal support in compensation benchmarking, candidate negotiation prep, and closing discussions led by the Client Partner.

· Track offer progress, documentation, and joining timelines.

10. Quality, Speed, and Process Excellence

· Ensure adherence to the firm’s 10 step search process.

· Maintain high standards of research rigour, data hygiene, and turnaround time (TAT).

Contribute to knowledge repositories and role-specific talent pools for future searches.
