Job Title: Senior Commercial Credit Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst with robust end-to-end experience in financial spreading, commercial credit analysis, and covenant monitoring to support a leading U.S. Banking Client. The role will involve analyzing borrower financial statements, spreading financials, calculating and interpreting credit ratios, monitoring financial covenants, and supporting ongoing credit risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform end-to-end financial spreading of borrower financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Analyze borrower financial performance, trends, liquidity, profitability, leverage, and debt servicing capacity.
- Calculate and interpret key commercial lending ratios.
- Identify covenant breaches, exceptions, deteriorating financial trends, and potential credit risks.
- Review loan agreements and credit approval terms to understand financial covenants, thresholds, reporting requirements, and testing frequency.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7–12 years of experience in Commercial Credit Analysis, Financial Analysis, Credit Underwriting, or Commercial Lending.
- Strong end-to-end financial spreading experience.
- Hands-on experience with commercial loan covenant monitoring.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent knowledge of coverage, leverage, profitability, and liquidity ratios.
- Experience analyzing borrower financial performance and creditworthiness.




- Strong understanding of commercial lending and credit risk processes.
- U.S. Commercial Banking / U.S. Commercial Lending experience is mandatory.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience supporting U.S. Commercial Banking / Middle Market / Corporate Lending portfolios.
- Experience with financial spreading and covenant monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of LoanIQ, Moody's Credit Lens, AFS, or similar commercial lending/credit platforms.
- Experience handling annual reviews, loan renewals, covenant exceptions, and credit risk reporting.
