Role description

We are seeking an experienced Citrix DaaS L3 Engineer responsible for the administration, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise Citrix and DaaS environments. The role involves platform administration, image lifecycle management, patching, operational support, incident resolution, and service optimization. The engineer will work closely with IT teams to ensure a secure, stable, and high-performing virtual desktop workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Citrix & DaaS Administration

- Manage and administer Citrix and DaaS environments.
- Support platform operations, governance activities, and service administration.
- Manage Citrix Cloud services and DaaS platform components.
- Administer and support Citrix authentication services.
- Manage and support Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM).
- Administer and maintain Citrix Machine Creation Services (MCS).
- Support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure.
- Perform Citrix VDA administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Monitor platform health and optimize Citrix DaaS service performance.

Image Management & Patching

- Manage Citrix Golden Images and MCS image lifecycle activities.
- Perform Citrix DaaS and VDA patching activities.
- Install, upgrade, and maintain approved applications and supporting components within Citrix images.
- Execute image validation, testing, deployment, and production rollout activities.
- Perform image rollback activities when required.

Operational Support

- Act as the L3 escalation point for Citrix and DaaS-related incidents and service requests.




- Troubleshoot platform performance, connectivity, authentication, and end-user experience issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring platform incidents.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Perform infrastructure health checks, capacity reviews, and optimization activities.

Documentation & Governance

- Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and technical knowledge articles.
- Participate in change management, release management, and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical recommendations to improve platform stability, reliability, and performance.
