About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and technically strong Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team at DPS Contractors Pvt. Ltd. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced professional ready to own the structural engineering function across large-scale infrastructure and construction projects — from detailed design through to site supervision and project handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and engineering for large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, highways, flyovers, industrial structures, and high-rises.
- Conduct advanced structural analysis including seismic, dynamic, and wind load assessments.
- Review and approve structural drawings, design calculations, and technical documentation.
- Drive coordination between civil, architectural, and MEP disciplines across all project phases.
- Oversee site construction activities, resolve technical challenges on-site, and enforce quality standards.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships; review and approve shop drawings and RFIs.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers; actively build team capability.
- Ensure full compliance with IS codes, IRC standards, NBC guidelines, and client specifications.
- Contribute to tendering, BOQ preparation, and value engineering exercises.
What We’re Looking For
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering; M.Tech in Structural Engineering strongly preferred.
- 7–12 years of proven experience in structural design and construction supervision.
- Expert-level proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, MIDAS, or equivalent structural analysis tools.
- Deep working knowledge of IS 456, IS 800, IS 1893, IRC codes, and NBC.
- Strong command of AutoCAD; Revit Structure / BIM exposure is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior involvement in government or NHAI infrastructure tenders and DPR preparation is preferred.
- Experience with pre-stressed / post-tensioned concrete structures is a plus.
- Registration with the Institute of Engineers India (IEI) or equivalent professional body is advantageous.
