Camunda Architect | Hybrid | Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune

About the Role

Alluvify is hiring a Camunda Architect for one of our clients. You will own the architecture and technical direction of large-scale process automation and orchestration solutions built on Camunda. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams and delivery leads to design solutions that are scalable, secure and maintainable.

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune (Hybrid)

Experience: 14+ years overall, with 7+ years of hands-on Camunda experience

Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Define end-to-end architecture for workflow and process automation solutions on Camunda (7 and/or 8)
- Lead the design of BPMN and DMN models, and establish modelling standards and best practices
- Architect integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs, messaging and event-driven patterns
- Guide development teams on implementation, code quality, performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Drive decisions on deployment, scaling, high availability and monitoring of Camunda platforms
- Lead migrations and upgrades (for example, Camunda 7 to Camunda 8)
- Review designs and code, and mentor developers and tech leads
- Collaborate with business and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions




- Produce architecture documentation, solution blueprints and technical roadmaps

Required Skills and Experience

- 14+ years in software engineering, with significant time in architect or lead roles
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Camunda (Camunda 7 and/or Camunda 8 / Zeebe)
- Strong command of BPMN 2.0 and DMN
- Solid backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of security, performance and scalability in enterprise systems
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills

Good to Have

- Camunda certifications
- Experience with Camunda Operate, Tasklist, Optimize or Connectors
- Exposure to RPA or other process automation tools
- Experience in BFSI, insurance, healthcare or telecom domains
- Experience with Camunda 7 to 8 migration projects
