Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.

- Build and enhance scalable UI automation frameworks.

- Perform web application testing, including functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

- Develop and execute API automation tests.

- Analyze test failures, identify defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.

- Maintain test reports and ensure good automation coverage.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and collaborate with development and QA teams.

Mandatory Skills

- Robust hands-on experience with Playwright.

- Strong programming/scripting knowledge in TypeScript.

- Experience in UI/Web Automation Testing.

- Good understanding of automation framework design, Page Object Model (POM), locators, waits, assertions, and reusable components.

- Experience with API Testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman or Playwright API.

- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

- Good understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, and testing methodologies.
