MAY Lawyers LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Corporate Law Practice in Kanpur. We are looking for candidates with strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex corporate and commercial agreements.

Important Location Requirement

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements.
- Provide legal support on business transactions and contractual matters.
- Conduct legal research and risk assessments.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders on corporate legal matters.
- Manage multiple assignments while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Eligibility Criteria

- LL.B.



degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in:
- A corporate legal department/company; or
- A Tier-2 law firm.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial agreements.
- Proven contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and legal drafting abilities.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Teams

Candidates without practical working knowledge of Outlook and Teams will not be considered.
