Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Thrissur. This role involves guiding prospective students through the admissions process, including conducting informational sessions, explaining programs and eligibility criteria, and responding to inquiries via in-person meetings, phone, and digital channels. The counselor will assess student profiles, recommend suitable courses, and provide personalized advice to support academic and career decisions.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, following up with leads, coordinating with faculty and administrative teams, and contributing to outreach initiatives and events.



The role also requires meeting enrollment targets, using ethical and student-centered counseling practices, and supporting continuous improvement of admissions processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-focused support throughout the admissions journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to manage leads, convert inquiries into enrollments, and meet admissions goals while maintaining integrity and transparency.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, preferably in student counseling, academic advising, or educational services.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in admissions or counseling, familiarity with CRM or student management systems, strong organizational and time-management skills, and proficiency in standard office software.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social sciences, business, or a related field is preferred.
