THE OPPORTUNITY / ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an extremely talented Senior Accounts Executive who will manage statutory compliances, ensuring accurate and timely adherence to applicable regulations, including GST, TDS, Professional Tax (PT), and Income Tax (IT). You will work closely with the Finance team, gaining broad exposure to financial operations, compliance management, and reporting while playing a key role in strengthening the financial foundation of one of Indias great brands. We would be happy to hire someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, accountable, and an incisive co-worker with a strong understanding of statutory requirements and a drive for excellence.

WHAT WILL YOU OWN?

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of returns in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely preparation, verification, and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns.
- GST Reconciliation - Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records and books of accounts to ensure accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims.
- Tax Compliance & Payments Monitor GST liabilities, ensure timely tax payments, and maintain accurate records of statutory filings and payments.
- Invoice Management – Verify sales and purchase invoices for GST compliance, correct tax rates, HSN/SAC codes, and mandatory details.
- Maintain statutory records, GST workings, reconciliations, and supporting documents for audits and assessments.
- Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, and Operations teams to resolve GST discrepancies and ensure compliance across business operations.
- Assist with statutory audits, GST assessments, and responses to notices or queries raised by tax authorities.




- Monitor changes in GST laws and regulations and ensure timely implementation of applicable updates.
- Prepare GST reports, reconciliations, and compliance summaries to support financial reporting and decision-making.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally, with the ability to manage financial data, reconciliations, and accounting records efficiently.
- Good understanding of GST returns, reconciliation, ITC, and statutory compliance.
- Basic knowledge of TDS, Professional Tax (PT), and Income Tax (IT).
- Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data management.
- Proactive, self-driven, and committed to meeting compliance deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
