We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Gorakhpur. The role involves working on Australian individual tax returns, accounting, and bookkeeping for Australian clients. Must have worked in any CA firm.

We welcome candidates with strong accounting knowledge and experience in taxation and bookkeeping. Prior experience with Australian accounting firms or Australian individual tax returns will be an added advantage, but it is not mandatory. Candidates with the right skills and willingness to learn Australian taxation practices are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and process individual income tax returns for Australian clients.
- Assist in reviewing income, expenses, deductions, and supporting documents for tax return preparation.
- Perform bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and general accounting activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data accuracy.
- Work with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Understand and follow applicable Australian taxation guidelines and compliance procedures.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting-related issues.
- Coordinate with team members to collect missing information and complete assignments on time.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in accounting, taxation, or bookkeeping.
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.




- Good understanding of income tax concepts and accounting procedures.
- Hands-on experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial records.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Australian accounting firms or clients
- Knowledge of Australian individual tax returns and ATO requirements.
- Experience with Xero, MYOB, or other Australian accounting software.
- CA drouputs, CPA, ACCA, or other relevant professional qualifications.

Note: Australian accounting experience is preferred but not compulsory. Candidates with strong accounting fundamentals and a willingness to learn Australian taxation will also be considered.
