About Special You

Special You is a growing brand specializing in creative decoration products for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and other celebrations. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure accurate accounting records, and maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Handle D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) accounting and reconciliation for platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and other online marketplaces.
- Reconcile marketplace settlements, sales, commissions, returns, refunds, and other deductions.
- Manage bank reconciliations, vendor payments, customer receipts, and expense tracking.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly financial summaries.
- Handle GST returns, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Perform monthly closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor outstanding payments, vendor balances, and receivables.
- Coordinate with internal teams for invoices, purchase orders, and financial documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, audits, and financial planning.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications




- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field; M.Com or relevant professional qualifications are preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of D2C and e-commerce accounting, including marketplace settlement reconciliation.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different teams.

Preferred Candidate
- Candidates with experience in e-commerce, retail, or D2C businesses will be preferred.
- Experience handling Amazon and Flipkart seller accounts and reconciliation processes will be an added advantage.
