Koelle Designs Private Limited is seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and results-driven Accountant specializing in GST Compliance and Reconciliation to join our finance and accounts team at Sitapura, Jaipur.

The ideal candidate must possess strong practical knowledge of GST return filing, Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation, statutory compliance, and advanced Tally ERP operations. Candidates with prior experience in the garment manufacturing, textile, or export industry will be preferred, particularly those familiar with job work transactions and manufacturing-related GST compliance.

The position requires a high level of accuracy, analytical ability, ownership, and effective coordination to ensure timely compliance and accurate maintenance of financial and statutory records.

Key Responsibilities

1. GST Compliance & Return Filing

- Prepare, review, and ensure timely filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Verify sales and purchase data against GST portal records before filing returns.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of GST-related documentation and statutory records.
- Monitor GST compliance requirements and filing deadlines.

2. GST & Input Tax Credit Reconciliation

- Conduct regular reconciliation of purchase registers, books of accounts, GSTR-2B, and GST portal data.
- Verify Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility, identify discrepancies, and ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Investigate mismatches in invoices, taxable values, GST amounts, and ITC claims.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal departments, and consultants for resolution of reconciliation differences.

3. ITC-04 & Manufacturing Compliance

- Prepare and manage ITC-04 returns and supporting documentation, wherever applicable.
- Maintain records relating to goods sent to and received from job workers.
- Reconcile job work challans, material movement records, and related accounting entries.
- Ensure proper documentation of manufacturing-related transactions in accordance with applicable GST requirements.

Accounting & Tally ERP

- Maintain accurate accounting records and perform ledger scrutiny using Tally ERP – Advanced Version.
- Review purchase and sales entries, GST ledgers, and related accounting transactions.
- Ensure proper classification and accounting of GST-related transactions.
- Maintain systematic records and supporting documents for audits and statutory verification.

5. Reporting & Coordination

- Prepare reconciliation statements and GST-related reports for management review.
- Identify process gaps and discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
- Coordinate with the finance team, vendors, and external consultants to maintain accurate records and meet compliance deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification; M.Com or relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST compliance and return filing.
- Hands-on experience in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, ITC reconciliation, and ITC-04.
- Advanced working knowledge of Tally ERP.
- Prior experience in garment manufacturing, textile manufacturing, or export-oriented companies preferred.
- Positive analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet statutory deadlines.

Compensation
- Monthly Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000, based on relevant experience and competency.
- Job Location: Koelle Designs Private Limited, Sitapura Industrial Area, Jaipur.
