About Absolute Finance

Absolute Finance is a finance and accounting services firm providing outsourced accounting, Virtual CFO, financial planning, and business advisory services to clients across diverse industries.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, technically strong, and self-driven Senior Accountant who can independently manage accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver accurate financial reporting for multiple clients.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of accounting assignments, solving complex accounting issues, and working closely with clients and management.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Accounting: Independently manage books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and finalization of accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and supporting schedules.
- GST Compliance: Handle GST reconciliations, return preparation, filing, and resolution of discrepancies.
- TDS Compliance: Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, quarterly returns, and reconciliations.
- Month-End & Year-End Closing: Ensure timely closure of books, including provisions, accruals, depreciation, and reconciliations.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee vendor payments, customer collections, outstanding balances, and reconciliations.
- Audit & Statutory Compliance: Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- MIS & Management Reporting: Prepare accounting reports, financial summaries, and basic MIS for management review.
- Client Management: Communicate directly with clients, resolve accounting queries, and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
- Team Supervision:



Review work performed by junior accountants, provide guidance, and ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications:

- CA Inter / CMA / M.Com / B.Com
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience working with a CA firm, outsourced accounting firm, or handling multiple company accounts will be an advantage.

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
- Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other cloud accounting software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and finalization of accounts.
- Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and applicable tax regulations.
