We are seeking a professional and experienced Academic Counsellor with a proven background in student counselling and educational admissions. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of hands-on experience counselling students in an educational institution and guiding them through course selection and the admission process.

The candidate should be confident in communicating with prospective students, understanding their career goals, explaining suitable educational programmes, and managing admission enquiries from initial contact through enrolment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide one-to-one counselling to prospective students regarding courses, eligibility, duration, fees, and career opportunities.
- Assess students' educational qualifications, interests, and career objectives to recommend suitable programmes.
- Handle incoming student enquiries through telephone calls, WhatsApp, online platforms, and walk-ins.
- Conduct systematic follow-ups with prospective students to support admission decisions and improve enrolment conversions.
- Explain course details, payment structures, available learning modes, and admission procedures accurately.
- Address student and parent queries professionally and build trust through clear communication.
- Maintain updated enquiry records, counselling notes, follow-up schedules, and admission status in the CRM or student management system.
- Track prospective students throughout the admission funnel and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Achieve assigned admission conversion targets and counselling performance objectives.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth enrolment process.




- Prepare and submit daily reports covering enquiries handled, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Maintain professional communication and ensure all information provided to students is accurate.

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of direct student counselling experience is compulsory.
- Previous employment in a college, educational institution, training academy, coaching centre, or skill development institute.
- Practical experience counselling students about courses and handling admission enquiries.
- Experience in student follow-ups and admission conversion.
- Strong communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with WhatsApp, email, spreadsheets, and CRM systems.
- Good interpersonal skills, patience, and a student-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and meet assigned targets.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in skilled and career-oriented educational programmes.
- Familiarity with online and offline admission processes.
- Experience using admission management software or CRM platforms.

Experience Eligibility – Please Read Carefully Applicants must have at least one year of relevant student counselling experience.

Candidates whose experience is limited to general telecalling, customer support, retail sales, or unrelated sales roles will not qualify.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate their previous student counselling responsibilities and explain how they handled course enquiries, student follow-ups, and admissions.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
