We are looking for a skilled and dedicated OT Scrub Nurse to join our hospital's Operation Theatre team. The candidate will assist surgeons during surgical procedures, maintain sterile techniques, prepare surgical instruments, and ensure patient safety throughout the operation.

The ideal candidate should have good clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the operation theatre before surgical procedures.
- Arrange, check, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to hospital protocols.
- Perform surgical scrubbing and maintain strict aseptic techniques.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sutures, and other required materials.
- Maintain the sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
- Count surgical instruments, needles, and sponges before, during, and after surgery as per protocol.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.




- Monitor the availability and readiness of surgical supplies.
- Follow infection prevention, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, circulating nurses, and other OT staff.
- Complete required surgical documentation and assist with postoperative OT procedures.

Qualifications
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Previous operation theatre experience is preferred.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control.
- Ability to maintain a sterile field.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency surgical cases.
