Role Description The Script Writer will work full time in office in Bengaluru, collaborating closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to develop scripts for music videos, short films, digital content, and other studio projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include brainstorming concepts, outlining narratives, writing and revising scripts and screenplays, and adapting ideas to different formats and platforms. The role involves conducting research to strengthen storylines, aligning scripts with brand and project objectives, and incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine dialogue, pacing, and structure.

Writer will also support pre-production planning by preparing script breakdowns, coordinating with video production teams, and ensuring the written material is ready for smooth execution. This role requires consistent collaboration, timely delivery of drafts, and a strong commitment to high-quality storytelling.

Qualifications

- Strong scriptwriting and scripting skills, with experience crafting engaging narratives and dialogues for visual and audio formats.
- Ability to develop and structure screenplays, including character arcs, plot development, and scene transitions.
- Familiarity with video production environments and workflows, with an understanding of how scripts translate to visual storytelling.
- Excellent writing skills, including clarity, creativity, and attention to detail across different genres and formats.
- Relevant experience in film, media, entertainment, or creative agencies; internships or portfolio work in scriptwriting or screenplays are beneficial.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to take and incorporate feedback constructively.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Creative Writing, Literature, Communication, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also valued.
