Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic School Career Counsellor to work with students of Grades 9–12 and support them in making informed academic and career choices. The ideal candidate should have strong counselling skills, a good understanding of psychometric assessments, and prior experience working in a school workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one and group career counselling sessions for students of Grades 9–12.
- Conduct and interpret psychometric assessments and explain results to students and parents.
- Guide students on subject selection, higher education options, career pathways, and entrance examinations.
- Conduct career awareness workshops and counselling sessions within the school.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers,



and school management.
- Maintain detailed counselling records and student progress reports.
- Develop personalized career action plans based on students’ interests, aptitude, personality, and academic profile.
- Stay updated with career trends, courses, colleges, entrance examinations, and higher education opportunities.
- Coordinate with the school and Beyond Mentor team for smooth execution of the career counselling program.

Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in career counselling, preferably in a school setup .
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related field .
- Strong understanding of psychometric assessments and career counselling methodologies.
- Experience working with students of Grades 9–12.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to confidently interact with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership.
- Strong command of English; knowledge of Telugu will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of CBSE/IB/Cambridge curriculum will be preferred.
