Role Description The SAP MDG Technical Senior Analyst is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru South. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP Master Data Governance solutions, including configuration, enhancements, and integrations with related SAP and non-SAP systems.

The individual will translate business requirements into technical specifications, implement data models and workflows, and ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across master data domains. Day-to-day activities include troubleshooting technical issues, performing system analysis, collaborating with functional teams, and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver stable, scalable,



and secure MDG solutions. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of MDG processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong SAP MDG technical skills, including MDG configuration, data modeling, UI modeling, workflow setup, and BRF+ rules.
- Experience with SAP core modules and integration technologies such as ALE, IDoc, BAPI, Web Services, and SAP PI/PO or CPI.
- Proficiency in ABAP development, including enhancements, user exits, BADI implementations, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of master data domains (e.g., customer, vendor, material, finance) and best practices in data governance and data quality.
- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical designs, including solution architecture and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, with experience in incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
- Experience in full lifecycle SAP MDG implementations or major enhancement projects, including testing and deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead technical role within SAP environments, preferably in large or complex organizations.
