Job Title: SAP IS-U ABAP Consultant

Location: PAN India (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-U ABAP Consultant with 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and solid expertise in the SAP Utilities (IS-U) domain. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining SAP IS-U solutions to support business requirements and ensure seamless system integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP IS-U applications using ABAP.
- Work on Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits.
- Handle SAP IS-U-specific objects and business processes related to billing, invoicing, device management, and meter reading.
- Develop and support custom programs, workflows, and interfaces based on functional specifications.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, unit testing, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions.




- Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.
- Support transports, deployments, and post-implementation activities.

Mandatory Skills

- 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP IS-U (Industry-Specific Solution for Utilities).
- Expertise in ABAP Objects, Reports, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits.
- Experience in interfaces, debugging, performance optimization, and forms.
- Understanding of SAP IS-U business processes, including billing, invoicing, device management, or meter reading.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA.
- Knowledge of OData, CDS Views, and SAP integration technologies.
- Experience in utility-sector projects and SAP IS-U implementation or support.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori integration is an added advantage.
