Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance/FICO Consultant with strong functional and hands-on configuration expertise. The consultant will work independently with Finance stakeholders in a complex enterprise SAP environment and support solution design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities and from Banking/BFSI/Finance domain only

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Finance / FICO solutions based on business requirements.
- Strong hands-on expertise across FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP and Asset Accounting (FI-AA).
- Configure and support Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting and Internal Orders.
- Manage financial close, reconciliation and financial reporting processes.
- Handle Finance configuration, account determination and related integration settings.
- Work on cross-functional SAP integrations with relevant modules and business processes.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces and custom developments.
- Collaborate closely with ABAP and other technical teams for solution development and issue resolution.
- Perform/support functional testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution and regression testing.
- Support cutover, go-live, hypercare and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot complex SAP Finance issues and drive them through to resolution.
- Independently engage with Finance stakeholders, understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices and meet enterprise business and control requirements.





Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of SAP FICO / Finance experience, with strong hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance especially in BFSI domain.

- Solid configuration expertise in
- General Ledger (FI-GL)
- Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)
- Accounts Payable (FI-AP)
- Asset Accounting (FI-AA)

- Cost Center Accounting

- Profit Center Accounting

- Internal Orders
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, controlling, period-end/year-end close, reconciliation and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with account determination and Finance configuration.
- Good understanding of SAP cross-functional integration.
- Experience preparing detailed functional specifications and coordinating with ABAP/technical teams.
- Strong experience across testing, defect management, cutover and post-go-live/production support.
- Ability to independently manage requirements, issues and discussions with senior Finance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Profile

- Experience working in large and complex enterprise SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience across S/4HANA implementation, rollout, enhancement and support engagements.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and take end-to-end ownership of Finance workstreams/issues.
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to bridge Finance business requirements and SAP technical solutions.
