Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong functional expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), along with experience in integrating SAP with external systems using RFCs and file-based interfaces. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, supporting, and enhancing SAP FICO solutions while collaborating with technical and business teams to deliver seamless integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business requirements and design SAP FI/CO solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Financial Closing.
- Configure and support SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Support integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, and PS.
- Design, test, and support RFC-based integrations between SAP and external applications.
- Work with ABAP developers to define and validate RFC-enabled function modules, BAPIs, and IDocs where applicable.
- Coordinate and support file-based integrations using FTP/SFTP, shared directories, and middleware platforms.
- Define file layouts, mapping specifications, reconciliation processes, and error-handling procedures for inbound and outbound interfaces.
- Support interface monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for integration failures.
- Participate in data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support.




- Collaborate with business stakeholders to resolve functional issues and recommend process improvements.

• Maintain project documentation, configuration documents, and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Skills
- Analyse business requirements and design SAP FI/CO solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Knowledge of BAPIs, BADI, IDocs, and SAP integration concepts.

- Experience preparing functional specifications for ABAP developments.
- Strong understanding of interface testing, reconciliation, and error handling.

• Familiarity with SAP transport management and change management processes.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite, any middleware
- Knowledge of APIs
- Experience with EBS, payment interfaces, and banking integrations.

• Exposure to middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica.
