Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute

SAP IBP functional configuration across Demand Planning, Supply Response, OBP, and S&OP.;

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP IBP solutions.

- Configure and maintain planning areas, key figures, planning levels, attributes, time profiles, and related IBP objects.

- Work on

Demand Planning processes

, including statistical forecasting, demand sensing, and consensus planning.

- Support

Supply Response and Order-Based Planning (OBP)

processes and resolve planning-related issues.

- Configure and support

S&OP; processes

, including scenario planning and supply-demand balancing.

- Design, develop, and support integrations between SAP IBP and

SAP S/4HANA / ECC and other enterprise systems

.

- Work with technical teams on interfaces, data flows, enhancements, and integration-related development activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional and technical issues in SAP IBP.

- Perform root-cause analysis and provide sustainable solutions for production issues.

- Work closely with developers, business stakeholders, and other SAP teams to deliver enhancements.

- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution

.

- Prepare functional specifications, technical requirements, configuration documents, and process documentation.





- Participate in knowledge transfer and provide guidance to team members where required.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–8 years of overall SAP experience

, with strong hands-on experience in

SAP IBP

.

- Strong expertise in:

- SAP IBP Demand Planning

- SAP IBP Supply Response

- SAP IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP)

- SAP IBP S&OP;

- Strong understanding of

SAP IBP configuration and planning processes

.

- Experience with integration between SAP IBP and

SAP S/4HANA or ECC

.

- Good understanding of data integration, interfaces, master data, and transactional data flows.

- Experience working with technical/development teams for enhancements and integrations.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex SAP IBP issues.

- Good understanding of end-to-end

Supply Chain Planning processes.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with

SAP Cloud Integration / CPI

.

- Knowledge of

SAP Integration Suite and IBP integration mechanisms.

- Experience with

SAP HANA / CDS views / APIs related to IBP integrations.

- Exposure to

SAP Fiori and SAP IBP Excel Add-In.

- Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.

- SAP IBP certification would be an added advantage.
