About the Role

We are looking for a SAP BASIS Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA implementation projects and keep our client landscapes stable after go-live. The role involves proactive system monitoring, log analysis and quick issue resolution, along with implementation work such as installations, upgrades and transports.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor SAP system health daily: work processes, system logs, dumps, update and lock entries, background jobs, spool and application server status.
- Review and analyse logs (system, ABAP dump, developer trace, gateway and update logs) to find root causes and fix issues early.
- Monitor database and HANA health: space, backups, performance and alerts.
- Handle incidents and service requests within SLA, with proper documentation.
- Manage the transport landscape: import/export, transport queue monitoring and error resolution.
- Support SAP installations, system copies/refreshes, patching, kernel upgrades and support pack applications.
- Configure and monitor RFC connections, SAP Cloud Connector, certificates (STRUST) and Fiori Gateway services.
- Handle user and role support alongside the security team, such as lock/unlock and authorization issues.
- Set up and monitor alerts through Solution Manager / SAP monitoring tools.




- Support cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
- Prepare daily health check reports, runbooks and technical documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP system monitoring and log analysis: SM21, ST22, SM37, SM50/SM66, SM12, SM13, ST03N, ST06, DB02, SM59, SMICM, SLG1, AL11, SP01.
- Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA BASIS administration.
- Good knowledge of SAP HANA administration (backup, monitoring, performance basics).
- Working knowledge of transport management (STMS) and system landscape (DEV/QA/PRD).
- Hands-on experience with patching, kernel upgrades and system refreshes.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows OS and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently on incidents.

Positive to Have

- Exposure to SAP Solution Manager / Focused Run
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori Gateway, SAP BTP, CPI or Cloud Connector
- SAP BASIS / HANA certification
- Experience in a SAP implementation partner or managed services environment

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E / MCA or equivalent Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
