Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated SAP ABAP Consultant with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and support. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants and business teams to develop, enhance, test, and support SAP applications.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of ABAP programming, RICEF objects, ABAP OO, and SAP S/4HANA, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and deliver quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

ABAP Development

- Develop, maintain, and support SAP applications using ABAP/ABAP OO.
- Work on RICEF objects Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
- Develop and enhance ALV, Classical, Interactive, and OO ALV reports.
- Create and modify SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
- Work with BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs, and Function Modules.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, and issue resolution as per business requirements.

SAP Enhancements & Technical Development
- Work on User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
- Assist in Module Pool and Dialog Programming activities.
- Work with Data Dictionary objects, including Tables, Structures, Views, Data Elements, Domains, and Search Helps.
- Analyze and optimize ABAP programs for basic performance improvements.

SAP S/4HANA & Integration
- Work on SAP S/4HANA development and support activities.
- Understand and work with ABAP developments in an S/4HANA environment.
- Gain exposure to CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA-based development.
- Coordinate with functional consultants from MM, SD, FI, CO, PP, and other modules.
- Support integration-related development and troubleshooting activities.

Testing & Production Support
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and defect fixing.
- Support UAT, system testing, and deployment activities.




- Provide technical support for production issues and resolve ABAP-related problems.
- Analyze existing programs and make required enhancements or corrections.

Documentation & Standards
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications and development documentation.
- Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and security practices.
- Maintain proper documentation of technical changes and developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Good knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO.
- Practical understanding of RICEF objects.
- Experience with Reports and ALV.
- Knowledge of SmartForms, SAP Scripts, or Adobe Forms.
- Basic working knowledge of BAPI, RFC, IDOC, and Function Modules.
- Knowledge of Data Dictionary – Tables, Structures, Views, Domains, Data Elements, and Search Helps.
- Understanding of User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
- Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA is required.
- Basic understanding of SAP HANA, CDS Views, or AMDP will be an advantage.

- Basic understanding of SAP business processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with functional and technical teams.
- Willingness to learn new SAP technologies and development practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation or support projects.
- Knowledge of OData and Fiori integration.
- Exposure to SAP Workflows.
- SAP ABAP certification will be an advantage.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
