Sales & Marketing Specialist – STP | ETP | WTP | RO

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales & Marketing Specialist to develop and grow business in the STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), WTP (Water Treatment Plant), RO Systems and Wastewater Treatment Solutions segment. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, understanding technical requirements, preparing commercial proposals, coordinating with the technical team and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development - Generate new business opportunities for STP, ETP, WTP and RO projects. - Identify potential customers across industries, commercial projects, residential projects and government/institutional sectors. - Conduct regular client visits and business meetings. - Generate leads through direct marketing, references, exhibitions, digital marketing and networking. - Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline. - Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. - Follow up with prospective clients from enquiry to order closure. - Negotiate commercial terms and support finalization of orders.
2. Customer & Market Development - Identify new markets, industries and geographical territories. - Develop relationships with:
- Industries & manufacturing companies - Pharmaceutical companies - Food & beverage industries - Textile industries - Chemical industries - Hotels & hospitals - Residential & commercial projects - Builders & developers - Government departments - Municipal corporations - EPC contractors - Consultants - Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Identify repeat business and AMC/service opportunities.

- Technical Sales Coordination - Understand customer requirements related to water and wastewater treatment. - Coordinate with the design/technical team for:





- STP - ETP - WTP - RO - MEE - UF/MBR - Sewage & wastewater treatment solutions - Collect required technical data from customers.
- Coordinate for site surveys and technical discussions.
- Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals along with the engineering team.
- Explain treatment solutions, plant capacity, process flow and benefits to customers.

- Tender & Project Business - Identify relevant government and private tenders.

- Coordinate preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids.

- Develop relationships with consultants, contractors and project developers.

- Track project progress from enquiry, quotation and negotiation to purchase order.

- Marketing Activities - Develop marketing strategies for STP, ETP, WTP and RO solutions.

- Participate in industrial exhibitions, conferences and business events.

- Conduct customer presentations and product demonstrations.

- Coordinate with digital marketing teams for lead generation.

- Develop company/customer databases.

- Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends.

- Reporting - Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.

- Maintain CRM/customer database and sales pipeline.

- Report lead status, quotations, negotiations and order forecasts to management.
- Track sales targets and conversion ratios.
- Provide regular market feedback to management.

- Good knowledge of water and wastewater treatment industry.
- Understanding of STP, ETP, WTP and RO systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer technical requirements.
- Strong presentation and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel/CRM.
- Ability to independently generate leads and close business.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

Educational Qualification Preferred

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or related Engineering.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing will be an added advantage. Candidates with strong experience in Water Treatment / Wastewater Treatment Sales may also be considered irrespective of educational specialization.

Experience Preferred Experience: 3–8 years Experience in selling any of the following will be an advantage:

- STP - ETP - WTP - RO Plants - Wastewater Treatment Plants - Water Treatment Chemicals - Pumps & filtration systems - UF/MBR/MEE systems - Industrial wastewater solutions - AMC & Operation/Maintenance contracts

Travel Requirement Regular travel for customer meetings, site visits, project discussions, exhibitions and business development activities.

Compensation Salary: As per experience and industry standards + Performance Incentives

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be a self-driven B2B sales professional who can independently generate leads, develop customer relationships, understand water/wastewater treatment requirements and convert opportunities into profitable orders. Candidates having an existing network among industries, builders, EPC contractors, consultants and institutional customers will be preferred.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹54,000.00 per month
