Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales Head – C&I; Business Development to lead commercial & industrial solar business growth, drive large-value projects, and build strong relationships with C&I; customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead C&I; Solar EPC business development and sales across targeted markets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and order-book targets.
- Identify and acquire industrial, commercial, corporate and institutional clients.
- Generate leads through direct sales, networking, channel partners and industry relationships.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, closure and contract signing.
- Develop strong relationships with CXOs, promoters, facility heads, energy managers and procurement teams.
- Understand customer energy requirements and coordinate with technical teams for suitable solar solutions.
- Lead commercial proposals, techno-commercial discussions, pricing and negotiations.




- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting to management.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, tariffs and C&I; renewable-energy opportunities.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales/BD team.
- Coordinate with EPC, Engineering, Finance and Project teams for smooth project handover.

Key Requirements

- 8–15 years of experience in Solar EPC / Renewable Energy / C&I; Sales.
- Proven experience in selling C&I; rooftop, ground-mounted solar or open-access projects.
- Strong network among industrial and commercial customers.
- Experience handling large-ticket B2B / B2C solar projects and complex negotiations.
- Robust understanding of CAPEX, OPEX, RESCO/PPA, Open Access and EPC business models preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with a target-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
