We are looking for a customer-focused and target-driven Sales Executive to join our showroom team in the Paints Department.

Job Summary The Sales Executive will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting suitable paint products, generating sales, achieving monthly targets and providing excellent customer service. The candidate should have a basic understanding of paints, colours, finishes and applications, along with good communication and selling skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend to showroom customers and understand their painting requirements.
- Recommend suitable paint products, colours, finishes, primers, putties and related accessories based on customer needs.
- Explain product features, benefits, coverage, application methods and usage.
- Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up on prospective customers.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the paints department.
- Develop and maintain relationships with painters, painting contractors, interior designers, builders and other potential customers.
- Coordinate with the billing, purchase and warehouse teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Maintain proper records of customer enquiries,



quotations, sales and follow-ups.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, new launches, promotional schemes and competitor offerings.
- Ensure the showroom and product displays are neat, organised and presentable.
- Follow up with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.

Eligibility and Requirements
- Plus Two / Degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in paints, building materials, hardware or showroom sales is preferred.
- Knowledge of paint products, colour combinations, finishes and applications will be an advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Target-oriented, proactive and willing to take ownership of sales performance.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with billing software are desirable.
- Willingness to learn new products and participate in product training.

Freshers with strong communication skills, a positive attitude and an interest in sales may also apply.
