Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales and Service Executive for diesel generators based in Ahmedabad. The role involves identifying prospective customers, managing leads, and conducting client visits to present Powerlux diesel generator solutions. The executive will prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and support the closing of sales while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating installation and commissioning schedules,



supervising service activities, and ensuring timely maintenance and repair of diesel generators. The role also requires preparing service reports, handling customer queries and complaints, liaising with technical and production teams, and providing feedback on market trends and competitor activity to support business growth.

Qualifications

- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills, preferably in industrial equipment or power generation.
- Technical understanding of diesel generators, electrical panels, and related power systems, with the ability to explain features and benefits to customers.
- Ability to coordinate and oversee service, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities for diesel generator installations.
- Proficiency in basic documentation, reporting, and use of office software for quotations, service records, and communication.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and local languages, with a skilled and customer-focused approach.
- Proven ability to work on-site, travel locally as needed, and collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and service teams.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline is preferred; relevant industry experience may substitute.
- Previous experience in diesel generators, power generation, heavy machinery, or industrial sales and service will be an advantage.
