Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment across our construction project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures at construction sites.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.

- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as helmets, safety shoes, harnesses, gloves, and other required equipment.

- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety training for employees and workers.

- Monitor safety practices related to work at height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting activities, electrical work, hot work, and other high-risk activities.

- Ensure compliance with PTW (Permit to Work) procedures for critical activities.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports.

- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records, and other required documentation.

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and workers to resolve safety issues.

- Ensure proper barricading, signage, housekeeping, access, and emergency arrangements at the project site.





- Conduct emergency preparedness drills and ensure availability of fire-fighting and first-aid facilities.

- Monitor subcontractors and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.

- Assist management in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory safety requirements and construction safety standards.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports for management.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Safety Engineering / Fire & Safety / Civil Engineering or a related field.

- Relevant safety certification such as NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS / DISH will be an added advantage.

- Minimum 2–10 years of experience in construction/project site safety.

- Good knowledge of construction safety practices and statutory requirements.

- Candidates with experience in civil construction, commercial buildings, residential projects, or infrastructure projects are preferred.

- Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

- Strong leadership and site monitoring skills.

- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
