Roles and Responsibility

Develops implements and monitors company safety programs and policies. Ensures compliance with government health and safety regulations.

Responsible for inspection of fire pump (Jockey - Diesel - Electricity).

Identification of risks in the working workplace (physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, electrical, negative) and methods of control.

Follow-up adherence to the policies on safety, health, and environmental protection in the company's various work sites, especially the policy of issuing work permits PERMIT TO WORK

Completes required federal, state and local government reports relating to safety.

Responsible for internal and External Audits & compliances as per Unilever policy &Audits.;

Maintain SHE related database e.g. the Occupational Safety (OS), EPR, PAR, SHENet, etc.

Coordinate the FWS audit program and SHE specific audits with input from the Unilever SHE.

Monitors environmental compliance and maintains liaison with appropriate regulatory agencies.

Develops and conducts employee EH&S; training.

Recommends corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist.





Identifies, analyzes and controls occupational hazards and promotes worksite by applying knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, psychology, physiology, and industrial health and safety laws.

The work of the EH&S; Engineer who is an Industrial Hygienist involves industrial hygiene, life safety, and ergonomic compliance-related activities.

Interacts with others in the administration of the workers compensation program and the implementation of workplace ergonomics and program solutions. Monitors industrial health compliance.

Ensures proper investigations of accident / incidents conducted for EH&S; events and drives corrective actions.

Ensures compliance with required codes, standards and regulations. Act as a liaison with local, regional or federal regulatory authorities.

Bachelor's Degree

Experience - 8-15 years of Work experience as Safety Offer -HSE)

Experience in manufacturing company is must.

Good communication skills.
