Role Description This remote Robotics intern role offers hands-on experience in designing, testing, and refining robotic systems and automation solutions. The intern will assist in building and validating prototypes, integrating hardware and software components, and supporting experiments related to AI, robotics, and embedded systems. Day-to-day tasks may include scripting and basic programming, sensor integration, data collection, documentation of experiments, and collaboration with the engineering and research teams.





The intern will also help prepare technical reports, maintain project documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of ongoing R&D; initiatives. This is an internship position designed to provide practical exposure to real-world robotics and intelligent automation projects in a structured learning environment.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of robotics concepts, mechatronics, and automation; familiarity with actuators, sensors, and basic control systems.
- Hands-on skills in programming (e.g., Python, C/C++), basic scripting, and working with microcontrollers or embedded platforms (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
- Understanding of AI and Machine Learning fundamentals, with interest in applying algorithms to perception, control, or decision-making in robotic systems.
- Ability to read and create technical documentation, schematics, and test plans; solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience or academic exposure to CAD tools, product design, or prototyping techniques is an advantage.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment, with good communication skills and a proactive learning mindset.
- Prior project work, internships, or personal robotics/automation projects are highly beneficial, even at a junior level.
