We are looking for an experienced Revit BIM Modeler with Scan-to-BIM / Point Cloud experience.

The role mainly involves creating architectural Revit models and converting point cloud survey into accurate Revit models.

Key skills

- Strong experience & knowledge in Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD
- Proven Scan-to-BIM / Point Cloud to Revit experience
- Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Recap
- Experience working with RCP, RCS, E57, LAS/LAZ point-cloud formats
- Ability to accurately prepare existing & proposed model
- Ability to produce accurate floor plans, elevations and sections
- Good understanding of architectural construction and existing building conditions
- Strong attention to dimensional accuracy and detail

Role & responsibilities

- Convert registered point clouds into accurate Revit BIM models




- With point cloud data produce drawings/model in Auto CAD & Revit
- Model existing building geometry directly from point-cloud data
- Produce plans, elevations and sections
- Check completed models against the point cloud
- Identify unclear or missing survey information instead of making assumptions
- Coordinate Revit and AutoCAD information
- Maintain good model organization and drawing standards
- Deliver work accurately and within agreed deadlines

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 3 to 5 years' Revit experience
- Minimum 2 years' practical Scan-to-BIM / Point Cloud experience
- Previous experience modelling existing buildings is essential
