ABOUT THE ROLE

F5 Global Talent is hiring a Revit API Developer – AI & BIM Automation to build intelligent software that reduces manual work across the design and production workflow of a U.S.-based interior design firm.

Your first major project will be a custom AI-powered system that automates repetitive parts of Revit plan creation — including lighting plans, plumbing plans, elevations, and related documentation — with the goal of reducing work that currently takes hours down to minutes.

This is a builder role. You will design and write the software yourself using the Revit API, AI/LLM technologies, APIs, databases, and custom integrations.

You’ll work directly with designers and business owners to understand how their Revit workflow operates today, identify the highest-value opportunities for automation, and take solutions from discovery through production deployment.

This is a full-time, remote role open to candidates in India and the Philippines, with flexible working hours and availability required for meetings with a U.S.-based team.

IMPORTANT: We need someone with hands-on experience in BOTH software/AI development and Revit/BIM workflows. Revit drafting experience alone is not enough, and no-code automation experience alone is not enough.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Analyze existing Revit-based interior design workflows and identify high-value automation opportunities
- Build a custom system that automates repetitive Revit plan creation, including lighting plans, plumbing plans, elevations, and related documentation
- Develop Revit automation using the Revit API, Dynamo, or similar technologies
- Work with Revit families, parameters, views, sheets, schedules, annotations,



and design constraints
- Build AI-powered features using LLMs, image models, computer vision, or machine-learning techniques where useful
- Design and build custom software, APIs, integrations, databases, and structured-data workflows
- Connect Revit and design workflows with external systems and services
- Build automated end-to-end workflows rather than isolated scripts
- Support development of a client-facing project portal with dashboards, project tracking, WhatsApp integration, and status notifications
- Test, deploy, monitor, and improve the systems you build
- Explain technical concepts and project progress clearly to designers and non-technical business owners

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Hands-on experience with both software/AI development and Revit or BIM workflows
- Real Autodesk Revit experience on architectural, interior-design, engineering, or construction projects
- Strong understanding of Revit elements, views, sheets, families, parameters, schedules, annotations, and design constraints
- Experience developing custom software rather than relying only on no-code tools
- Experience building AI-powered applications, intelligent automation, or machine-learning systems
- Experience working with LLM APIs, AI models, or similar technologies
- Strong API-development and third-party integration experience




- Database and structured-data experience
- Ability to design and build an automated workflow from discovery through deployment
- Understanding of architectural or interior-design workflows
- Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a project from concept through production
- GitHub projects, code samples, or examples of automation systems you personally built

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience automating architecture, engineering, interior-design, or construction workflows
