Responsibilities

Business

Development & New Client Acquisition

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial automation sector.

- Generate leads through market research, cold calling, references, networking, and customer visits.

- Approach OEMs, System Integrators, machine manufacturers, and end users.

- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

2.

Customer Relationship

Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.

- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.

- Conduct regular customer visits and follow up on enquiries, quotations, and orders.

- Maintain long-term relationships with key customers.

3.

Technical

Sales

- Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate automation solutions.

- Have knowledge of products such as PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo, CNC Controllers, Motion Control, and related automation products.

- Coordinate with the technical/application team for solution development wherever required.

- Explain product features, applications, benefits,



and technical specifications to customers.

4. Sales & Order Conversion

- Prepare and submit quotations and commercial proposals.

- Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into orders.

- Negotiate with customers while maintaining company pricing and profitability.

- Track orders from enquiry to order closure and coordinate internally for timely execution.

5.

Market

Development

- Identify recent industries, customers, applications, and market opportunities.

- Monitor competitor activities, market pricing, and customer requirements.

- Develop strategies to increase business from existing customers and acquire new customers.

6.

Sales

Reporting & Coordination

- Maintain regular sales reports, enquiry pipelines, customer visit reports, and follow-up status.

- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

- Coordinate with Sales, Service, Logistics, Accounts, and Technical teams for smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
