Role Description This is a full-time Sales Engineer role, hybrid/on-site based in Gurugram, covering English-speaking countries globally for flame retardants, smoke suppressants, and lead-acid battery additives.

The Sales

Engineer will identify and develop international business opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and build long-term relationships with industrial and manufacturing customers across English-speaking markets. The role involves providing technical product demonstrations, preparing and presenting technical proposals, and offering application support to ensure optimal product performance.



Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, coordinating with internal R&D; and production teams, and supporting trials, sampling, and product qualifications.

The Sales

Engineer will also gather global market intelligence, assist with pricing strategies, prepare regular sales reports, and represent the company at international industry events and customer meetings.

Qualifications

- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand chemical additives and industrial applications.
- Demonstrated Sales and Customer Service experience, including lead generation, account management, and post-sales support.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear technical presentation, negotiation, and report writing.
- Background in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related technical field; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in flame retardants, smoke suppressants, battery additives, or related specialty chemicals is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and basic data analysis for sales and technical reporting.
- Ability to work independently, travel to customer sites as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
