- Prepare and review year-end statutory accounts under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
- Prepare and submit corporation tax computations and returns
- Prepare and submit VAT returns on standard and other schemes
- Prepare partnership and sole trader accounts
- Submit RTI payroll filings and manage PAYE obligations
- Handle Companies House compliance and filing

Team Leadership

- Build, manage and be accountable for a growing team of accountants and bookkeepers
- Review, check and sign off work before it goes to clients
- Mentor and coach budding accountants through their career development
- Set and maintain standard operating procedures across all service lines
- Manage workload allocation and ensure deadlines are met

Quality and Communication

- Own the quality assurance process: review standards, error tracking, continuous improvement
- Communicate professionally with UK clients, accountants and business owners
- Handle escalations and complex queries with confidence
- Provide regular operational updates to the senior management and clients
