Role Description The Regional Operations Manager, Pune Division, will oversee end-to-end operations for the region, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely movement of cargo across all service lines. This full time, on-site role will be responsible for managing branch operations, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing resource utilization, and driving process improvements to meet service and cost targets.

The role includes coordination with cross-functional teams such as sales, customer service, warehousing, and fleet management to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

The Regional Operations

Manager will lead and mentor regional teams,



ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and support implementation of new initiatives and technologies. The position is based in the Pune Division and requires regular visits to branches, hubs, and customer locations within the region.

Qualifications

- Strong operations management skills, including regional planning, process optimization, and KPI monitoring.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain management, preferably in a multi-location environment.
- Proven people management skills, including team leadership, performance management, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data and reporting tools for decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams and external customers.
- Sound understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements in logistics and transport operations.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic ERP or TMS/WMS systems; familiarity with digital logistics platforms is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is beneficial.
- Prior experience in a regional or area operations leadership role is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, travel within the region as needed, and adapt to dynamic business demands.
