Hiring: R&D; QA Engineer / SDET – Embedded & Electronics Domain

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech – CS / ECE or related field

Role: Software Development Engineer in Test (Embedded/Electronics)

We are looking for an experienced R&D; QA Engineer / SDET to join our Software Quality Engineering team. The role involves testing and automating high-performance measurement and data-handling software working across C/C++, .NET APIs, FPGA, networking, storage, and GPU environments .

? Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional & non-functional testing including performance, throughput, load, stress, reliability, stability, and memory/resource testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for C/C++ APIs .
- Build and maintain GTest (Google Test) based test automation.
- Design test cases covering positive, negative, boundary, and edge scenarios .
- Test embedded and low-level software across Linux, Windows, and Embedded Linux environments.
- Set up and manage test environments using Conan, CMake , and related build/package tools.
- Perform failure analysis, debugging, root-cause analysis, defect reporting, and fix validation.
- Validate high-speed data transfer, data integrity, and throughput .
- Collaborate closely with R&D; and development teams to improve product quality and minimize production defects.





? Must-Have Skills 3–5 years of experience in Software QA / Test Engineering / SDET

Strong C/C++ programming and API testing experience

Hands-on experience with GTest / Google Test

Experience with Embedded Testing and low-level software testing

Basic understanding of TCP/IP, sockets, and networking protocols

Knowledge of Conan and CMake

Valuable understanding of Linux & Windows environments

Strong test design, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills

Experience with FPGA / RDMA testing is highly relevant

- DMA / RDMA concepts
- High-throughput data transfer systems
- Storage technologies and GPU environments
- Embedded Linux
- IQ waveform/data handling and basic signal/measurement concepts
- High-speed communication interfaces
- CI/CD tools – Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Git
- Jira / Confluence / Zephyr

Ideal Candidate Candidates with a background in Electronics, Embedded Systems, SDET, or Software QA who have hands-on experience with C/C++, API testing, GTest, FPGA/RDMA, and hardware/low-level testing will be preferred.
