Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end monthly closing activities, including accurate processing of prepaids, accruals, and daily accounting entries.

Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Conduct P&L; variance analysis, providing clear explanations, supporting documentation, and actionable insights.

Oversee and reconcile bank accounts, diligently following up on and resolving all open items.

Perform credit card reconciliations and accurately allocate expenses to relevant cost WBS elements.

Act as a key point of contact for external audits, providing necessary support and responding to ad-hoc financial requests.

Collaborate closely with the treasury team on weekly cash projections to proactively manage liquidity and avoid payment delays.

Record foreign exchange transactions accurately, utilizing financial systems like Revel.com.

Execute inter-entity cost allocations through the preparation and issuance of manual debit notes.

Manage inter-company accounting for assets, including recharges and cost allocations between different entities. Ensure the proper booking and reconciliation related to asset usage.

Manage payroll-related accruals and true-ups (e.g.,



for bonuses and leave entitlements) based on received inputs.

Ensure the accurate recording of all VAT/tax entries in the system, verifying correct rates and tax codes.

Possess robust knowledge and practical experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Knowledge and Attributes:

Strong attention to details with a high degree of accuracy.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Display good planning and organizing abilities.

Knowledge and prior exposure to international entities, foreign currency and inter-company transactions

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems like SAP and BPC (added advantage).

Able to deal with different individuals at all levels in the organization.

Required Experience:

Extensive experience in a comparable role within a global organization

Advanced expertise in statutory accounting
